PeerConnect Inc. is a Rochester, New York-based company that markets secure communications applications, creating Trusted Transactions. Their technologies are being used by over 40 US state and federal agencies. This crypto engine is patented in the U.S. and meets FIPS 140 – 1 and 2 compliance standards. RepositBox has an agreement with PeerConnect to incorporate their Hypership SecureConnect software into its online credential management solution.

The University of Rochester has granted exclusive rights to RepositBox, for the use in the "virtual credential" space, of its trademarked technology called AuthentImage. AuthentImage enables validation of the integrity of a virtual image.
