The process for a Credential Granting Organization (CGO) to implement and operate the RepositBox service is easy, and there is no charge. The four steps are as follows:
- A CGO agrees to become a RepositBox service provider, and the CGO’s portal page to RepositBox is established (for example, Lansbridge University)
- The CGO notifies its past, present and/or imminent credential receivers that the RespositBox service is available;
- The receivers who want the RepositBox service respond to their granting organization, and indicate which credentials they want to be posted; and
- the CGO posts the encrypted images of the receivers’ requested credentials to their RepositBoxes (or sends raw data to RepositBox for matching with templates), as well as 6 key identifiers associated with the credential receiver.
That’s it. After that, an automatic e-mail notifies the receiver that his/her RepositBox has the posted credentials, and provides the URL for the receiver to register with RepositBox, and to pay for their RepositBox.
